What better way to show you how the Cricket Simulator works than to recreate the 2019 Vitality Blast final between Essex and Worcestershire.  Like on the day Essex won the toss and asked Worcestershire to bat first.

The Worcestershire innings got off to a flier with by a rapid 40 by the returning Hamish Rutherford off just 20 balls.   Riki Wessels, Moeen Ali,  Wayne Parnell and Daryl Mitchell then each contributed with scores over 20.  However, tidy spells by Aron Nijjar (1-16) and Dan Lawrence (2-19) off their 4 overs stopped the Worcestershire batsmen getting away, but a competitive total was set for the Eagles to chase.

After a couple of early scares, a 3rd wicket stand of 66 between Tom Westley and Dan Lawrence set Essex on their way to a comfortable victory.  Westley reached his 50 in 40 balls and ended unbeaten on 65, with Lawrence out for 39, leaving Ravi Bopara to finish the game off with 20 balls to spare.
